Departure day!

Hello everyone,

Today is the day of departure!! As participants of the study tour, we have been waiting for this day for so long. This is the first daily update where we will keep you updated about our travel progress.

Today is a travelling day, this morning at 6:30 the bus left the University of Twente towards our first destination: Vienna. The first hours were very calm as everyone was getting a few extra hours of sleep. After the first break, where people could get coffee and some fresh air, the energy levels increased, and we could amuse ourselves with the beautiful landscape as we travelled further into Germany.

At the moment of writing, we are halfway through Austria. In a few hours we will reach our hotel where we will spend the coming days. Tomorrow we have a full day planned, so we will probably shortly explore the hotel and then go towards our beds. We will provide you with another update tomorrow.
