Last day in Graz and visiting Aerospace Team Graz

Hallo leute,

Unfortunately it is already the last day in the beautiful city of Graz. In the morning we checked out of the hotel while our great busdriver picked up the luggage. After that we had some more time to discover the beautiful places and musea that Graz has to offer. A quick questionnaire found out that some people visited the Landeszeughaus (Armoury museum), while others stroll around the city.

The afternoon program consisted of a visit to the technical university of Graz. More specifically, we visited a student team called the Aerospace Team Graz. They gave us a presentation about the model rocket that they designed and built themselves completely from scratch. Last week they launched their rocket for the first time, however their recovery system malfunctioned, which caused the rocket to smash into the ground. They still call it a success, since their goal was to launch the rocket at all. Afterwards, we enjoyed some free beverages while having a discussion with the students from the team.

While typing this, I’m enjoying the beautiful Austrian mountain scenery while we drive from Graz to München. We will continue our trip in South Germany for the next 4 days.
